Ball valves are a type of shut-off valves with a spherical locking element and are designed to regulate the flow of liquids in the circuits of heating, water supply, air conditioning and ventilation systems. The valve can be turned either manually or automatically when the electric drive is installed. The material of manufacture is brass, to increase durability, the stem is made of stainless steel.
The electric actuator for the ball valve is a control unit for the locking element lever in automatic mode. Principle of operation: when a Modbus control signal is received from the controller (RS485 or, depending on the model, 2/3-point or proportional 0-10V), a mechanism with a 90-degree rotation angle is triggered, completely blocking the main line for 35 seconds.
